No Clan certificate is issued on the basis of defective documents: CM Devendra Fadnavis

In the midst of continuing protests on reservation in Maharashtra, the chief minister of Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said the role of government is to ensure that there is no injustice to any community, including OBCs by abusing his decisions. He defended the government’s decision to implement Hyderabad Gazette to give a Clan certificate to the qualifying marathas and said no one would receive a Clan certificate based on poor documents. He spoke to the OBC delegations during the meeting, while one of them demanded that the government’s proposal was issued on September 2 to give a Clan certificate with relevant documents to the marathas. Chief Minister Fadnavis said: “Marathwada was the only area where the Nizam was ruled, not the British. Therefore, the Hyderabad Gazette was accepted based on the records there.
