DCP has meeting on the safety of aviation hotels, the emphasis on security arrangements
New -delhi, October 4 (IANS). DCP (IGI Airport) of Delhi Police, Vichitra Veer, held an important meeting with major safety officials (CSOs) of all hotels and commercial businesses in the aviation area. The meeting focused on strengthening security arrangements in hotels, improving employees’ control and verification standards, as well as to make emergency response and withdrawal plans effective. At the meeting, the DCP advised the hotels to strictly follow the existing security standards and improve them if needed. The emphasis was particularly emphasized on household and verification of security personnel. The DCP said that the background control of each new employee must be done properly so that any suspicious activity can be prevented. For this, hotels were instructed to keep their records posted regularly. In addition, hotels are suggested to review their emergency response and withdrawal plans. The DCP said all hotels should organize a special workout for their staff, including training to handle fire, bomb threats or other emergency situations. Also insisted on organizing regular ridiculous drills in collaboration with local police, fire departments and other agencies. This will enable rapid and effective action in emergencies. At the meeting, the CSO was encouraged to share its proposals and information to further improve the safety of the aviation sector. The DCP said security is a general responsibility and that the hotel management will have to play an active role in this direction. He warned that strict action would be done for violating safety standards. A comprehensive strategy is made to increase the safety in aviation, in which the verification and emergency preparations of employees are prominent.
