I was not the first choice of Sinha for 'Article 15': Ayushman Khurana
Mumbai, October 7 (IANS). Bollywood actor Ayushman Khurana recently attended the ‘Ficci Frames 2025’ program. During a discussion here, he said that he was not the first choice of Anubhav Sinha for the film ‘Article 15’. He remembers the early days of his career and said he should face many challenges while working as a young journalist. Ayushmann Khurrana tried his hand in the world of journalism, radio and TV before becoming an actor. When asked if there was such a moment in his career, when the direction of his life changed completely when yes or not, he said, ‘I believe this little steps as a journalist lead to success. I handled radio, television, theater and journalism together. Not to say the biggest challenge, especially at the beginning of career. If you are young and not easy to say, it is not easy to say, but not to say. It makes you strong. Film ‘Article 15’ changed the perception because I was known for a very light social comedy and ‘Article 15’ was a very serious film based on casteism and did very well, which was an unusual thing. Anubhav Sinha had his screenplay and never had me to do it. That I want to do a similar movie. And ‘Article 15’ gave me a lot of respect as an artist. ‘The 25th edition of’ Ficci Frames’ will be held in Mumbai from October 7-8. This will include well -known celebrities such as Ekta Kapoor, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Hansal Mehta, Shoojit Sarkar, Pratek Gandhi, Huma Qureshi, Konkera Sen Sharma, Divya Dutta and Kiran Rao.
