Bihar election: Code of Conduct Implemented, Electoral Banners and Posters Not yet Removed

Kaimur, October 7 (IANS). The code of conduct has come into effect in the entire Bihar since the announcement of the meetings dates. There are still banner posters of political parties in the Kaimur district, respective blocks and city officials have been instructed to remove it. Even after that they are not removed. Mohania SDM Anirudh Pandey said the process of removing all the banner posts from political parties was only started after the code of conduct of Saturday. Where the posts are not removed, they will be removed soon. All department officials were instructed to follow the election rules. At the same time, under this campaign, police and agencies have so far seized large amounts of illegal material, the total estimated amount is about 2.04 crores. The seizure has been liquor worth Rs 128 lakh, intoxicating substance worth Rs 61.17 lakh and cash amount. District Administration, Police, Excise, Income Tax, Norcotics Bureau, Customs and Flying Squad teams are constantly conducting joint activities to ensure fair elections. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has instructed all districts to strengthen the supervision and act quickly on each complaint, so that voters can vote freely without any temptation. The India Electoral Commission has ordered all district magistrates and administration to institute law and order in the district.
