Nashik, October 8 (IANS). A shocking case came to light on Tuesday night at the Nashik Road police station in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, where a youth strangled his mother to death. He then went to the police station and surrendered himself. The youth was identified as Arvind Muralidhar Patil, resident of Shivaji Nagar, Jail Road. After the murder, the young man himself reached the police station and admitted to police that he strangled his elderly mother to death. The accused Arvind Muralidhar Patil told police that his mother was getting old and was very weak due to illness. The care of them constantly became a cause of spiritual tension for him and he could not go anywhere. For which he got angry on Tuesday night and strangled her to death. When the accused heard the statement of the accused, police informed the crime and senior officials about the case and took the accused to his home, where the dead body was laid on the floor and marks were also found on her neck, which confirmed the murder. Police immediately arrested accused Arind Patil and began further steps. A case was registered against the accused in terms of the murder section. Police inspector Jitendra Sapkale said he, after joining the Valmiki Jayanti march at about 10:30 on Tuesday, was in the police station with his crime PI, NII Code. At the same time, a man came to the police station and admitted that he strangled his mother because he could not tolerate her behavior.
