Madhya Pradesh: Kailash Vijayvargiya emphasized awareness on the lovejihad, said: 'Only values will stop the wrong path'

Indore, October 10 (IANS). Madhya Pradesh’s Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Kailash Vijayvargiya, expressed concern about the growing cases of lovejihad, saying that not every problem could be solved by law. It is possible to control it only through awareness and values in society. Kailash Vijayvargiya spoke to journalists in Indore and said: “We must give good values to our children, because only values can stop them from going on the wrong path. These values are obtained from family, school and college.” Vijayvargiya emphasized that it is not appropriate to make laws for every expense. With reference to the traditional structure of Indian society, he said: “Earlier the law was not so common in India. In the towns, the Panchas’ decision was regarded as the Word of God, because society was cultivated. Earlier, people did not even smoke pane or cigarette before the elders, but modernity changed this situation.” Vijayvargiya, which emphasizes the power of the Sanatan culture, said: “Sanatan’s history is more than five thousand years old. Some people see it in a distorted view, but we will continue to raise Sanatan flag by drilling their vision.” He discusses the ‘I Love’ movement related to the lovejihad and said that in many cases the possibility of conspiracy cannot be excluded. “Many times people were caught who worked in a planned way.” More than 50 cases of lovejihad have been reported in Madhya Pradesh in recent months, with investigations strengthened especially in Bhopal and Indore. Vijayvargiya, who links these issues to social awareness, said families should teach moral values to children. The minister described the decision of Indore Municipal Corporation to remove councilor Anwar Qadir as a ‘unique initiative’. Qadir has been accused of corruption and violation of rules. Vijayvargiya called on the congress to support this decision. -SYANS SCH Share this story Tags
