New -delhi, October 11 (IANS). The US Ambassador to India reached Sergio Gore on Saturday during his four -day visit Delhi. He met the Indian Foreign Minister S. Meet Jaishankar. During this, bilateral discussions took place between the two leaders between America and India. Foreign Minister Jaishankar wrote on the social media platform. US Ambassador Gore is accompanied by the US Deputy Foreign Minister for Management and Resources Michael J Rigas during this visit. Here he will discuss with Indian officials. A spokesman for the US Embassy in New -Delhi said the visit of Ambassador Gore was not related to his formal assumption of office. “It’s a short visit. His identity card will be presented later, which has not yet been decided,” he said. US Ambassador Gore also met during his visit to India, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Secretary. The Indian Foreign Ministry shared photos of the meeting on Twitter: “Foreign Minister Vikram Misri met Sergio Gore, US Ambassador Genominee in India. They had fertile discussions about the India American comprehensive global strategic partnership and its shared priorities.” The Foreign Minister wished the best of the ambassador-far Gore for his tenure. Before leaving for India, Gore met the Indian ambassador to the US Vinay Mohan Kwatra during Diwali celebrations in India House in Washington. “It was my pleasure to host ambassador and special presidential envoy Sergio Gore at India House yesterday for Diwali celebrations before his visit to India,” Quatra at X. Sergio Gore formally nominated as the US Ambassador in India on August 7 and voted by the US Senate on October 7.
