Pakistani Army's actions against civilians continue in Balochistan
Quetta, October 11 (IANS). Major human rights organizations said many Baloch citizens by the Pakistani army had disappeared by force, as the cycle of prosecution throughout the province continued with wandering disappearance, murders and torture. Human Rights Division of Baloch National Movement, Pank, expressed a serious concern about the deviated disappearance of the minor student Khudadad Baloch, resident of Mand, Kech district of the province. Khudadad was abducted by the Pakistanian army on October 8, along with three others from Jarenbog Village in Kech. On October 8, he condemned the incident, another human rights organization, Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ), said: “This case reflects a persistent and worrying trend in Balochistan, where civilians are subject to civil servants.” The human rights body said that such practices create fear and suppress division and thus undermine the basic protection of human rights. Human rights organizations have urged the government of Pakistan to immediately disclose the residence of Khudad Baloch, ensure its safe release and end the practice of forced disappearance. It also called on the authorities to conduct a fair and transparent investigation and to hold those responsible. Meanwhile, with a different incident of forced disappearance, Pank said that Abdul Sattar and Muhammad Hasil, residents of Shrinkan of the Turbat City of the province, disappeared from the Pakistanian army from the Pakistani army of the Pakistani army. Noor Jan, a worker by profession, was taken away without any legal warrant or explanation. Earlier this week, Baloch Women’s Forum (BWF) central convener Shali Baloch said that a protest march was organized in the Awaran city of Balochistan, where people raised hard slogans against the Baloch Youth, Sagir Baloch and Iqrar Jangian disappearance.
