Supriya Sule targeted the government of Maharashtra, said: Insensitivity to farmers is condemnable
Pune, October 11 (IANS). Supriya Sule, MP of the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), responded sharply to the policy and work style of the Maharashtra government and the central government. He expressed dissatisfaction with the controversial statement given by Minister BabaSaheb Patil about farmers. Supriya Sule said: “It is very sad and disgraceful for ministers to the government of farmers mocking. Farmers already have many problems and in such a situation the insensitivity of the ministers is condemnable.” She further said: “The work style of the Maharashtra government is exceptionally understanding. There are many decent people in the country and Maharashtra, but I cannot understand what happened to the Maharashtra government. I strongly condemn this insensitivity.” Supriya Sule emphasized that the government must understand the plight of farmers and solve their problems immediately. Supriya Sule, who talked about the two recent road accidents in Hinjewadi, asked questions about the government’s apathy. She said: “I revised the situation in Hinjewadi every two weeks. I also said earlier that the government is not serious in this matter. There is great talk about infrastructure, but there was no improvement in Hinjewadi.” Supriya Sule also severely raised the issue of children’s deaths due to syrup. He said: “I said on the very first day that the center and the Maharashtra government should conduct a detailed investigation into this matter. Those should be taken against those responsible for the incident.” Supriya Sule showed activism at the local level regarding the water problem in Warje Gokul Nagar Plateau Colony of Pune. She herself reached the area and tackled the situation there. He said: “Water connection work has started here and drainage work will also begin soon. The construction of road will also be done after completing the drainage work.” He said, “After many days, people started getting water according to their requirement. I’m glad to see it.” –Is AKS/DSC Share these Story Tags
