Suryagarha meeting: Where JDU never won, BJP scored the last win in 2010, who will win this time?
Patna, October 12 (IANS). Suryagarha meeting seat is located in the Lakhisarai district of Bihar and is part of the Munger Lok Sabha picking division. This constituency of the meeting consists of three blocks of Pipariya, Suryagarha and Chanan. Geographically, Suryagarha is located about 8 kilometers west of the headquarters of the Lakhisarai district. Until 1990, the Suryagarh meeting was dominated by the congress and leftist parties. Both Congress and the CPI won this constituency four times. Prahlad Yadav van RJD won the 2020 elections Bihar meeting by defeating Ramanand Mandal of Congress. Prahlad Yadav is one of the most prominent leaders of the region, who has served a total of five times as MLA van Suryagadha. JDU has never been able to register the victory on this seat. However, in 2005 and 2010, Prem Ranjan Patel led BJP to a victory in this area and thus retained the party’s hold here. The history of the Suryagarha area says that this place was the place of the historic struggle between Sher Shah Suri and Humayun in 1534. In this war, Shershah Suri managed to become the ruler of Delhi sultanate by defeating Humayun. This is known as ‘Battle of Surajgarh’. Along with history, the religious importance of this area is no less. It is believed that Lord Buddha meditates on a nearby hill for three years, which also affected Buddhism here. Shringi Rishi Dham has a special place among the most important religious places of Suryagarha. This Dham not only holds religious, but also mythological importance. According to local beliefs, it leads to a boy to pray here. This place is also considered associated with Lord Shri Ram. It is said that Sage Shringi has performed at this place. In addition, there are many small temples and tourist spots in Suryagarha, which are centers of reverence and faith for the locals.
