Chinese Coast Guard responds to invasions by Philippine ships in Thyesyan Reef
Beijing, October 12 (IANS). Philippine government ships no. 3002 and no. 3003 illegally entered the waters near you, including Sandy-Kay, in China’s Nansha Islands without the consent of the Chinese government. On Sunday at 9:19 am the Philippine Government ship no. 3003 China’s repeated warnings ignored and the Chinese coastal vessel no. 21559, which was involved in normal law enforcement operations, approached dangerously. This led to a minor collision. The responsibility of this incident lies entirely with the Philippines. The Chinese coast guard took control measures against Philippine ships in accordance with the law and chased them vigorously. Chinese coastal spokesman Liu DeChun said this. It is well known that China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands and their surrounding waters, including the ten -sentence reef. The actions of the Philippines seriously violated China’s territorial sovereignty, violate the statement on the behavior of all parties in the South China Sea and harm the peace and stability in the South China Sea. China requests the Philippines to stop its offenses and harassment immediately. According to the Chinese Coast Guard Act, China will undertake right protection and law enforcement activities in the waters under its jurisdiction.
