The entire incident occurred in Lakhaura Purbari Tola of the Lakhaura police station of the district. On Saturday, many residents crossed the Sikarhana River to another town to harvest for their animals. At night, everyone returned after crossing the river on a boat with feed. At the same time, strong winds began to blow, whereby the boat lost its balance and overturned in the river. The people in the boat suddenly fell into the water. After this accident, 11 people swam and returned safely. With the help of the NDRF team, three bodies were pulled out of the river. Kailash Sahni died during the treatment in this accident, while the bodies of Babulal Sahni, 45, and Mukesh Sahni, 26, were restored with the help of NDRF on Sunday. The bodies were sent to the hospital after death.
