JD Vance Issues ominous warning, says some hostages killed by Hamas may never be returned to their families

US Vice President JD Vance warned on Sunday (October 12) that some hostages who died by Hamas during captivity after the 2023 attacks on Israel were never returned to their families. Vance said he was talking on Fox News: “The reality is that some of the hostages can never come back, but I think we can give it to their families with a little effort so they can at least have a closure.” Vance added: “We want to give these people the ability to have a proper burial with their loved ones killed by cruel terrorists, and it is important to us. It is important for the families, and it will remain a focus, but it will take some time.” However, he said that while not all remnants of the victims will be restored, most are expected that most will eventually be returned. Israel declares the victory over Hamas Hamas staring a deadline to release all remaining hostages to Israel under a peace agreement mediated by US President Donald Trump. The agreement ends the two-year Israel-Hamas conflict, which broke out after the Hamas terror attacks on October 7, 2023. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the ceasefire: ‘This is an emotional evening, an evening of tears, an evening of joy, for tomorrow will return our children to our borders … You, the fight is not over. “Heyaar release and Palestinian prisoners Shosh Bedrosian, spokesman for the Netanyahu office, confirmed that the release of the hostages will begin early Monday:” We expect all 20 our living hostages to be released at one time. ” She added that Palestinian prisoners would only be released once Israel confirmed that all hostages had safely crossed the border. Under the agreement, Hamas will release 47 hostages, as well as live and deceased, and the remains of a soldier who died in 2014. The prisoner exchange will be found about 1700 detainees held during the Gaza war, and convicted 250 of security offenses, including the murder of Israelis. Trump to address the Israeli parliament is expected to arrive in Israel shortly after the expected release of hostages. He will address the Israeli Parliament before traveling to Egypt for chair of a summit in Sharm El-Sheikh with leaders from more than 20 countries, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, King Abdullah, and French President Emmanuel Macron. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is also expected to attend. No Israeli or Hamas officials will participate in the summit.
