People contribute to nation -building by adopting Swadeshi: Tarun Chugh
Mohali, October 12 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Tarun Chugh took part in an event in Mohali, Punjab, on Sunday. During this, he discussed the subject of self -sufficient India in detail and developed India. As he spoke to Ians, he said that the country is moving quickly today to become a self -sufficient India. Every part of the country is now ready to manufacture and use indigenous goods. There was a change in people’s thinking, now they prefer to buy and use indigenous goods instead of foreign products. Tarun Chugh said that Premier Narendra Modi gave the mission of self-sufficient India to the public and 140 crore citizens of India joined ‘Vocal for Local’ and Swadeshi campaign. He said that the people of Mohali also decided to adopt Swadeshi. Today, traders across the country are proudly writing their stores, “We are taking on Swadeshi.” People decorate their kitchens and drawing rooms with indigenous items. He also said that India, led by the Modi government, is now moving strongly to confidence. Under the leadership of Premier Modi, the economy of India moved from 12th place to fourth place. His decision is that by 2030, India will become the third largest economy in the world. He said, “India is not a country to stop.” Tarun Chugh strongly criticized the congress for the statement given by P. Chidambaram on ‘Operation Blue Star’. He said that the sins of Congress are so great that they can no longer be hidden. Indira Gandhi’s stubbornness and arrogance led to the incident. Anti-Sikh riots took place in 1984, in which Sikhs was brutally murdered. He said that people in the anti-Sikh riots were burned alive, turned into the crematoriums and who was responsible for it? Chugh claims that Congress only glorified those guilty of the riots. He said that under the guidance of Premier Modi, files were opened and acted in these cases.
