CM Mamata Banerjee failed to provide security to women in West Bengals: SUVENDU ADHikari

Purba Medinipur, October 12 (IANS). BJP leader Subvendu Adhikari has launched a shocking attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding women’s safety. The official said Mamata Banerjee ordered women not to go out at night and accepted that she could not ensure women’s safety. The officer raised the question that he still has the home department in such a situation? Suvendu Adhikari said the chief minister of Kamduni to RG Kar Hospital and Durgapur made it clear that he did not succeed in providing women’s security. He said that if the safety of women could not really be assured, the chief minister should impose a lock up for women at night. The officer also said that this is not a problem of just one city or case, but that it raises questions about the safety of women in the entire state. Let’s tell you that the chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who spoke to the media, said that girls should not go out at night. The CM also asked questions about the university administration about this incident and asked how the student came out at 12:30 at night. He said the victim was studying in a private college, and the college was therefore responsible for this incident. Mamata Banerjee made it clear that the government should not be blamed directly in this matter as it was the responsibility of the medical college to ensure the safety of the student. He also said that if the college followed security measures, such an incident would not have happened. He made it clear that his government has a zero tolerance policy towards such crimes. He said the culprits would not be spared at all costs. –Is Pim/DKP Share this story Tags
