Demand to increase voting against social discrimination on the 90th anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar's religious repentance

Nashik, October 13 (IANS). The 90th anniversary of the historical announcement of religious conversion by Dr. Babybedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Monday in Muktibhoomi, Yeola in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. During this period, Lakhs gathered people from all over the country. On this occasion, the senior minister of Maharashtra government reached Chhagan Bhujbal Muktibhoomi and paid tribute to Dr Ambedkar and remembered his thoughts. Chhagan Bhujbal said that three places are very special in the life of Dr. Ambedkar: Deexhabhoomi of Nagpur, Chaityabhoomi of Mumbai and Muktibhoomi of Yeola. Of this, Muktibhoomi of Yeola is the first place where Dr. Ambedkar announced religious conversion in 1935. This statement has changed the course of Indian society and history, as it has shown a new path in the struggle for social equality and justice. Bhujbal said that this historical step has become a symbol of freedom and respect for the Dalits and the underprivileged. Social workers, followers of Ambedkar and representatives from various political parties participated in the program. The entire area echoes with slogans of ‘Jai Bhim’. Bhujbal said that the thoughts of Dr Ambedkar still inspire us for social equality, justice and human rights. Ambedkar’s philosophy shows the way to unite society and offer equal rights to everyone. Muktibhoomi was decorated on this occasion and many cultural programs were organized. Remember the contribution of Dr. Ambedkar, people decided to adopt his ideas in their lives.
