Small towns and communities have their own gods, customs and traditions. Rishabh Shetty, thank you for the stories of small communities to the world, deities were worshiped in our Mandi. Let us tell you that gods are worshiped in Himachal or in many other countries. It is usually village gods or gods of some community. People believe that the gods protect them from every evil and protect the town from every disaster. The Deity is worshiped at every pleasant opportunity and also gets a special place. Dom Devta is also worshiped in Himachal, whose Palanquin is taken out every year. Kalawa is attached to a thick piece of wood and a gold or silver umbrella is placed over it and covered with a sousal cloth. Let us tell you that Dom Devta is considered the symbol of Narayan and that people believe that the issues of many districts and towns are resolved only by Dom Devta. The story of ‘Kantara chapter 1’ is also based on the gods named Guliga and Panjurli, which combine nature, faith and spirituality. According to legend, Varaha Dev had five sons, one of whom got lost and the eyes of Mother Parvati fell on him. Since the child suffers from thirst, Mother Parvati cherishes him and holds him with her in Kailash. As soon as Varaha’s son grows up, he begins to riot and all the crops and trees are damaged. In such a situation, Lord Shiva thinks to kill Varaha’s son, but Mother Parvati stops him and curses him to go to earth. However, after asking for forgiveness, Lord Shiva gives a blessing to Varaha’s Son that he will protect the crops on earth and be worshiped as the God of crops. –Is PS/DSC Share This Story Tags
