Gas leakage caused panic in Jaipur, panic spread in the area; people who came out of their homes
A major accident was averted in the capital Jaipur. There was chaos in the area due to gas leakage, but luckily there was no loss of life. The incident took place on Sirsi Road, where another gas leak occurred on Wednesday (October 15). Suddenly in the night, gas leakage started happening with loud noise from the pipeline. Such incidents have also happened before. The news spread like wildfire and caused panic among the people nearby. Many people came out of their homes. However, a major accident was averted and the situation was brought under control. After receiving the information, water supply was also stopped. Leak for the fourth time in the area: Locals say this is the fourth incident of leakage from an avalanche gas line in the area. As soon as the information was received, SHO Vinod Kumar and fire brigade teams reached the spot and as a precautionary measure the surrounding area was evacuated. Soon a passerby named Radheshyam Atal came under control and immediately removed the crowd near the petrol pump so that no untoward incident happens. However, the situation was soon brought under control. Officials of Torrent Gas Company also reached the spot and the gas supply was stopped for some time to find out the cause of the leakage.
