Pregnant woman dies at Palembang Hotel, killer arrested
Jakarta – The killer of Anti Puspita Sari (22), a young pregnant woman who was found dead in a hotel room in Palembang, South Sumatra, has been arrested. Currently, the perpetrator is still being questioned by officers. According to information gathered by detikSumbagsel, the perpetrator was successfully arrested by a joint team of Unit IV Jatanras and Satreskrim Polrestabes Palembang, while he was hiding in Muara Padang area, Banyuasin on Wednesday (15/10). “It is true, the perpetrator was arrested by a joint team of the South Sumatra Police Department and the Palembang Police Criminal Investigation Unit,” said South Sumatra Police Public Relations Head Commissioner Nandang Mukmin Wijaya, as reported by detikSumbagsel, Wednesday (15/10/2025). Nandang promised that the identity of the perpetrator and the chronology of the arrest will be provided in an official release planned to be held on Friday (16/10). Auntie’s husband remembers his beloved wife. To him, the victim was a cheerful and spoiled figure. “The deceased was a cheerful person, very cheerful. He was spoiled by me, he didn’t want to leave when we were together,” said the victim’s husband, Adi Rosadi, on Tuesday (14/10). “Sometimes we go for a walk when I’m on holiday. Usually it’s just the two of us at home. He stays around all the time,” he continued. He met Anti in 2023. He was introduced by the victim’s cousin and had a relationship until they eventually married in the same year. On the day of the incident, Adi said, his wife’s face was not as bright as usual. When remembered, Anti showed different behavior that day. “Before he left on the day of the incident, his face looked different. His behavior was also different.
