Gujarat: Jamnagar artist made 'Shaurya' rangoli on Diwali and told the story of patriotism and sacrifice.

Jamnagar, October 16 (IANS). An artist from Jamnagar, Gujarat has prepared a rangoli that tells a powerful story of patriotism and sacrifice on the auspicious occasion of Diwali this year, which has touched the heart of every Indian. The title of his artwork is ‘Shaurya’ (One Nation, One Light). This female artist has been making rangoli on various themes at home for the past 15 years. The theme of this rangoli is not only limited to beauty but it is also an emotional tribute to the 26 innocent people who were martyred in the brutal terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam. The artist said that he has engraved the soil of India, the blood of sacrifice and the fire of patriotism in every particle of his rangoli. The rangoli depicts the face of an Indian woman on one side, symbolizing the grief of the families who lost loved ones in the attack. His eyes reflect pain and helplessness, reflect the sadness of the whole country. On the other side emerges the face of the Indian soldier, whose eyes reflect anger, courage and a strong desire for justice. This soldier represents the strong spirit of every Indian against terrorism. The center of the rangoli features Indian fighter jets flying against the tricolor background, symbolizing the message of ‘Operation Sindoor’ – justice, revenge and unity. While talking to IANS, Rangoli artist Riddhi said, “Every year I make rangoli on a special theme by choosing any one subject at my residence in Jamnagar. This time the theme is titled ‘Shaurya’ (one nation, one flame). This rangoli is not only a tribute but it is a message that India will never lower the courage of our nation and the terrorism of our nation don’t always bow down. fire.” He told that this rangoli, about five feet long and four feet wide, was made with simple Chirodi colors and it took about ten days of tireless effort to prepare it. The rangoli is now complete and local people come in large numbers to see it. Artist Riddhi said that this artwork is dedicated to all the innocent victims of Pahalgam terror attack.
