Farmers of Gujarat are very sad... Arvind Kejriwal also raised questions about the arrest of AAP leaders.

Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal targeted the Gujarat government. He attacked the state government over the arrest of AAP leaders Praveen Ram and Raju Karpada who raised the voice of farmers. He said that two AAP leaders Praveen Ram and Raju Karpada were arrested on Thursday for speaking in support of farmers. He said that the BJP will now face the same situation as the Congress in Gujarat. Arvind Kejriwal said that in 1985 the Congress won 149 out of 182 seats in Gujarat and that the Congress had become arrogant. There was a peasant movement in 1987, which was suppressed by the Congress and the people of Gujarat overthrew the Congress with 149 seats in the next election. BJP has been in power in Gujarat for the past 30 years. BJP has become very arrogant now. As the BJP started oppressing the farmers, the people of Gujarat will uproot it in the next elections. Attacked the Gujarat government by sharing the video. Arvind Kejriwal shared a video on Twitter on Thursday in which he said the farmers in Gujarat are very upset and have come out on the streets to demand their rights. Protests have been taking place in different places for the last few days. On October 12, farmers from Hadad village in Botad district called a Mahapanchayat to make two main demands. The first claim was against the “Karada system”. Under this system, farmers go to the market to sell their crops, where they make an agreement with a trader about the price. For example, the trader agrees to buy a crop at a price of Rs 1,400 per quintal. After this, they take 10-20 percent of the crop for Rs 1,400. However, some traders adopt wrong methods and under the “Karada system” tell the farmer that the remaining crop is spoiled. Then traders pay less for the remaining crop. Almost all the farmers of Gujarat are facing this exploitation. The farmers demand that the entire crop should be purchased at a fixed rate without exploitation. It is legal for farmers to demand fair price for their crops. The second question is related to the government’s APMC market. Arvind Kejriwal said that the second question of the farmers was related to the government’s APMC market. The law says that when a farmer brings his crop to the state market, the trader will buy his entire crop from there, but the traders do not. Traders ask farmers to deliver their crops to their factories or warehouses 30-40 kilometers away. In such a situation, farmers themselves have to bear the expenses of transportation. Now farmers want their crops to be bought from the market and traders to transport them themselves. On October 12, a mahapanchayat was held in Hadad village in Botad district, where farmers rallied with these two demands. But the BJP government, which has ruled Gujarat for 30 years, brutally charged the unarmed farmers and released tear gas canisters. The same day, FIRs were registered against 85 farmers on charges of attempt to murder, including Section 307 of the IPC, and several people were arrested. Farmers of Gujarat must unite – Kejriwal Arvind Kejriwal told the farmers of Gujarat that what happened to these 85 farmers today can also happen to you tomorrow. All the farmers of Gujarat must unite and take to the streets to meet their demands. Arvind Kejriwal told the BJP government of Gujarat that the Congress government, which had won 149 seats out of 182 in 1985, had also become arrogant. He suppressed the farmers by means of lathi charge and tear gas and in the next elections the people ousted him. Today, BJP’s crackdown has crossed all limits in Gujarat. Now the time has come for the people of Gujarat to prepare to overthrow this 30 year old government. Do not be arrogant because Ravana’s arrogance also failed. The cries of the poor farmers will not leave you anywhere.
