The alleged MAM suspect is known to have the role of field coordinator. He played a role in this violent kidnapping and extortion case from start to finish. Then the suspect NN (52), who was acting as a field coordinator, lured the victim and blackmailed the victim. The third suspect, VS (33), tortured the victim, prevented the victim from running away and ordered one of the other suspects to record a video that went viral. The fourth suspect, HJE (25), played a role in torturing the victim along with suspect S (35) who also provided the house. The suspect, me, was the executor, field coordinator, provided the car and tortured the victim. Finally, the suspect MA provided a house to keep the victim. Sit on the case Kadek said that this case started with over-credit by the suspect MAM to the suspect NN. However, during the trip, NN did not pay his obligations and instead sold MAM’s car to another party. “So initially it happened that the Alphard car was initially going to be over-credited. So the suspect MAM was to NN. So, he only paid Rp. 75 million, still owed about Rp. 400 million, with a promise that it would be over-credited. Well, along the way it turned out that NN did not fulfill his obligations, he explained it again to Kadek, when asked by Kadekom, sold it to someone else. Friday (17/10). Kadek said MAM did not know that NN had sold his car to another party. MAM felt annoyed that he had not received his rights for a long time and finally kidnapped NN for three weeks until he found out that his car had been sold to another party. “Well, because it took a long time, there was no clarity, finally N was taken by the suspicious MAM. It turned out that he (NN) couldn’t pay, he admitted that his car was thrown at victim I,” explained Kadek. NN also tried to contact I. NN told me that he would sell the car. I ended up transferring IDR 49 million. Even though he was displaced, NN still wanted to invite me to meet. They met at an angkringan in the Jagakarsa area. However, during the meeting, NN met I with his wife DJ and two colleagues NA and AAM kidnapped. “As soon as IDR 49 million was transferred, I wanted to ask them to meet, and they were kidnapped (me),” explains Kadek. After kidnapping I along with his wife and two colleagues, NN took him to the suspect MA’s house in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang. There, I, his wife and two colleagues were immediately imprisoned. Kadek said MA was MAM’s business partner, who was asked to furnish his house to smooth MAM and NN’s kidnapping plan for I, DJ, NA and AAM. He said there were no family ties to the suspects. “So the other suspect (MA), just… don’t know what the problem is, but he lent me the house. There is no (family relationship), nothing, he just wants to get to know, wants to do business with,” Kadek said. “‘I have a problem like this, I’m looking for a place, I want to be interviewed, I’m looking for my car, something like that’, ‘Well, I’ll just use it at my house, I don’t need it’. That’s how it is,” he said. Besides asking MA for help to use his house as a place of detention, MAM also hired two members of the Indonesian Navy (AL) to guard the house that was used as a place of detention for the victims. The rent that MAM gives to two members of the Indonesian Navy is IDR 20 million for two weeks. “Well, that (regarding the airsoft gun), actually there were two Indonesian fleet hired by MAM. He paid IDR 20 million for two weeks. Take care of it. Yes, it is safe. So, because he was afraid for some reason, he could never, never play like that, right,” Kadek said. He said that regarding the alleged involvement of two members of the Indonesian navy, his party will coordinate with POM AL. “Yes (will coordinate with POM AL),” he added. (wnv/idn)
