350 liters of ghee and 448 kg of oil were seized in Bhima
On Monday, District Food Safety Officer Premchand Sharma along with his team seized 350 liters of ghee and 448 kg of oil from a grain warehouse in Todgarh Road near the city’s Roadways bus station. Sharma said that this action was taken under the campaign “War on Pure Food Adulteration”. The state government is conducting this campaign from September 4 to September 30 on the instructions of Food Safety and Drug Control Commissioner T. Shubh Mangala and on the instructions of the District Collector and District Chief Medical and Health Officer. On Monday, samples of ghee and oil were taken from the warehouse of Arun Trading Company on Todgarh Road in Bhim city and the entire stock was confiscated. After receiving the investigation report, further action will be taken as per rules. It is noteworthy that earlier on August 12, the Bhim police seized 17 cans of fake oil from the warehouse of Nikki Sindhi, owner of the wholesaler Purna Prakash Dwarkadas in the Sadar Bazaar of the city.
