This time Janata Dal United canceled the ticket of Sudarshan Kumar. In his place, Nalanda resident Kumar Pushpanjay was made the party’s candidate from the Barbigha assembly. Due to this decision of JDU, huge anger is seen among the supporters of MLA Sudarshan Kumar. At the same time, after the ticket was cut, Sudarshan Kumar held a meeting with his supporters in his native town of Hathiyawan. In this meeting, hundreds of supporters from different villages in the Barbigha constituency pressured him to contest the elections at any cost.
