Tangerang – Two suspects were arrested by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in connection with a methamphetamine factory in an apartment in Cisauk area, Tangerang Regency. The two suspects had their respective roles as chefs and marketers. “We arrested two of the perpetrators, brother IM who served as a chef or cook. Then another brother DF who served as marketing or marketing of the processed products,” Head of BNN, Komjen Suyudi Ario Seto, told journalists at the location on Saturday (18/10/2025). The methamphetamine factory was raided on Friday (17/10) around 15.24 WIB in one of the apartment units by a joint team of BNN RI and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. During operation, the profits they earn are estimated to reach billions of rupiah. “The activities of this network have been operating for 6 months. Not only that, BNN also seized a number of laboratory equipment used to manufacture crystal methamphetamine from this location. The two suspects are currently being processed at BNN. Both of them were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1 subsidiary Article 113 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1, even more subsidiary Article 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1 of Act Number 35 of 2009 regarding Narcotics. “The threat of imprisonment is a minimum of 5 years and a maximum penalty of death,” he said. The two suspects, IM and DF, were presented this morning at a press conference held directly at the location of the raid. The two suspects were seen handcuffed and wearing orange masks.
