Bihar: Chanakya Prakash filed nomination, crowd of supporters gathered

Banka, October 18 (IANS). Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate Chanakya Prakash, son of Lok Sabha MP Girdhari Yadav, formally filed his nomination on Saturday. During the nomination of Chanakya Prakash, who is contesting on RJD ticket from Belhar assembly seat, a large number of supporters, party workers and local leaders were present with him. During this period an atmosphere of enthusiasm was seen in the area. Supporters welcomed him in various places with flowers and wreaths. After the nomination process Chanakya Prakash while addressing the public meeting said that he will give top priority to serve the public under the guidance of his father and senior leader Girdhari Yadav. He said that my father has always worked for the development of the area and the welfare of the people. With his inspiration, I am also committed to solving the people’s problems and taking the sector to new heights. Chanakya Prakash highlighted the policies of RJD and claimed that the public trusts the work of the party and his family. He promised to give special attention to the fields of education, health and employment. Strict security arrangements were made by the administration during the nomination. The district administration has made elaborate arrangements to control the crowd and make the process run smoothly. Hundreds of supporters accompanying Chanakya Prakash’s convoy raised slogans and supported his candidature. Locals say that Chanakya’s youthful energy and his father’s political legacy will strengthen RJD in the area. Expressing confidence in his victory, Chanakya Prakash said, “I have the full blessings of the public. The people of the area want change and RJD’s policies are capable of fulfilling their dreams.
