Cement transport truck overturns in Pandeglang, 2 passengers killed

Pandeglang – A truck had a fatal accident on the Munjul-Cikeusik road, specifically Cigintung Village, Gunungbatu Village, Munjul District, Pandeglang Regency. The truck reportedly rolled because it lost control. Munjul Police Chief Inspector Aep Wahyudin said the incident took place this morning around 10:00 WIB. He said three people were seriously injured, while two others were said to have died on the spot. “Two people are dead, three people are seriously injured,” Aep told reporters on Sunday (19/10/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT Aep said the truck with registration number A-8102-KQ driven by Wendi went to Cikeusik. While at the scene, the driver allegedly lost control, causing the truck to overturn. “When we were driving from Munjul to Cikeusik, when we arrived at the crime scene, the downhill road turned, the vehicle lost control, resulting in the vehicle rolling to the left of the road,” he said. Two passengers named Sulam and Irpan who were in the back of the car also fell and were hit by a heap of cement. He said both of them were pronounced dead on the spot. “When he was found in a pile of cement, he was already dead,” he said. The two victims were taken directly to the funeral home. Meanwhile, this case is being handled by the Pandeglang police’s traffic unit. “The incident was handled by the Pandeglang police’s traffic unit,” concluded Aep. (yangs/yangs)
