Ambika Soni's husband Uday Soni dies, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge expressed grief

New Delhi, October 18 (IANS). Uday Soni, husband of Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Ambika Soni and former Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has passed away. Information about his demise was given by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge through an official ‘X’ post. Kharge wrote in the official. Rajya Sabha MP, Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, expressed his condolences and took to social media platform, Rajya Sabha MP Rajni Patil expressed her deepest condolences. She wrote in the official ‘X’ post, “The news of the demise of former IFS officer Uday Soni, husband of senior Congress leader and working committee member Ambika Soni, is extremely heartbreaking. My deepest condolences to Ambika ji and her family at this difficult time. May God rest his soul in peace and give the family strength to bear this deep loss.” Uday Soni was a respected officer of the Indian Foreign Service. During his tenure, he represented the country on many important international fronts. Even after retirement he remained associated with public life and social activities.
