Then 11 employees were given light disciplinary sentences, and 68 employees were given moderate disciplinary sentences. This data was summarized by the Directorate General of Corrections at the Ministry of Immigration until 15 October. Internal action was carried out following the discovery of prohibited items in residential blocks of prisons and detention centres. It was previously reported that the Ministry of Immipas, through the Directorate General of Corrections, aggressively raids residential blocks in correctional institutions (prisons) and detention centers (rutan) at least twice a week. It was recorded that within a year of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration or the establishment of the Ministry of Imipas, as many as 11,962 raids were carried out. The raids target drug trafficking and online fraudulent practices in prisons/detention centres. As a result, 10,572 mobile phones and 21,843 electronic items were confiscated by 15 October 2025. “We are committed, in this case to the heads of prisons throughout Indonesia, to ensure that there is not a single mobile phone in the prison. This includes prison officers when they work, because sometimes they take advantage of officials who have strict officials. prove that it is involved, from transfers to being legally criminalized,” said Minister of Immipas Agus Andrianto. Based on the same data, 24,537 sharp weapons were confiscated from apartment blocks. This routine raid also led to the disclosure of 9 drug cases, one of which ensnared actor Ammar Zoni. Apart from raids, the Directorate General of Passports has also intensified urine tests. This year there were 177 correctional inmates or inmates whose status was positive for the use of drugs. “Those (prisoners) with heavy sentences and who are still suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking network, we will move them to the Nusakambangan prison, super maximum security. With the hope that placing them there can break their network,” stressed Minister Agus. Minister Agus has said on several occasions that the eradication of cell phones and drugs in prisons is a fixed price. “Zero cell phones and drugs are fixed prices,” Minister Agus emphasized some time ago in Jakarta.
