Ujjain: Collision between car and dumper, three devotees killed, one in critical condition
Ujjain, October 18 (IANS). There was a collision between a dumper and a car on Agar Road near the district headquarters of Ujjain late on Friday evening. In the accident, three devotees who were returning from the Baglamukhi Mata temple were killed while the condition of one is still critical. This accident happened near Jaithal Tech of Ghatia police station area, when the car of four devotees returning after darshan of Baglamukhi Mata temple collided with a dumper. In the accident, three devotees were killed instantly, while a youth was seriously injured. As soon as information about the accident was received, the police and local people reached the spot and immediately admitted the injured to a nearby hospital, where doctors described their condition as critical. The injured in the accident have been identified as Shailendra Kumar, resident of Nalkheda Manasa, Agar Police Station, Ujjain District. The three deceased have been identified as residents of villages around Ingoriya police station area of Ujjain district. The deceased are Rajesh, Aditya and Abhay of Ingoriya police station. It is said that one of the deceased was an MBA student. The police conducted post-mortem examinations of the three bodies and handed them over to their families. Police officials said in the preliminary investigation, the cause of the accident was said to be the high speed of the dumper and careless driving. Ghatia police station registered a case against the illegal dumper driver and started searching for him. Speaking to IANS, Dr Vikram Raghuvanshi said that the dumper was coming from the wrong direction. As a result, there was a collision between the car and the dumper. Shailendra, who was injured in the collision, is undergoing treatment, whose condition is still critical, while the bodies of deceased Rajesh, Aditya and Abhay have been handed over to their relatives. Speaking to IANS, MLA Satish Malviya said that all three children from my constituency are promising. I received the information in the morning.
