Stones were pelted on the youth, causing chaos in the area. The police started investigating the case and trying to nab the culprits. The incident raised tension in the area. Following a dispute over the purchase of firecrackers, the youth who returned after lodging a complaint at the Vishungarh police station were attacked by a mob outside the police station at 5 pm on Tuesday evening. Two real brothers were injured in the battle. The police took both of them to the Chhibramau Community Health Center for medical examination, from where one was referred to the district hospital in a critical condition. His supporters were angry about this and surrounded the police station. The police chased away the crowd with batons, after which people threw stones at the police. In the incident, Chhibramau policeman Vishnu Kant Tiwari was hit by a stone in his chest. A case is filed in the case. Vishungarh town resident Dilip Khatik said he went to buy coconuts on Tuesday evening. Permission to set up shops in the coconut market Ramlila Maidan was given only till Monday. Some shopkeepers also set up shops on Tuesday to sell the remaining coconuts. There, on seeing him, five youths, including the chief representative, started using abusive language and caste-related words. When he protested, the accused beat him and his companion. The accused were openly holding licensed and illegal weapons in their hands due to which he got scared and ran away for his life and reached the police station to complain about the matter. At night, the inspector in charge asked him to bring a written complaint, on which he came outside the police station to write the complaint. The youths who were already there in an ambush, together with about 200 unknown companions, attacked him with weapons in their hands. His cousin brothers Neelu Khatik and Veeru Khatik were also injured in the battle. It is alleged that the chief representative attacked the youth with the bat of his licensed revolver. People grabbed that revolver and gave it to the police. The police took three people including the chief representative to the police station and sent the injured Dilip Khatik and Neelu Khatik to the Community Health Center Chhibramau for medical examination. CO Suresh Kumar reached the police station. On the other hand, after receiving information about the arrest of the Chief Representative, his supporters became angry and surrounded the police station. Chhibramau, Gursahaiganj, Saurikh and Sakrava police had to be called. The police chased the crowd behind the fort and up to Ramlila Maidan with batons. At which the angry mob pelted stones. Chhibramau Kotwal Vishnukant Tiwari was hit by a stone on his chest. ASP Ajay Kumar normalized the situation. Pradhan Rajeshwari Devi also reached the police station. Chief representative Akhilesh told that people from his side misbehaved over fireworks, about which he went to the police station to complain. While returning from the police station, he was beaten and even after being injured, he was not given medical examination. ASP said that 11 youths were detained. 12 bicycles were seized.
