This year Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reached Mukhwa during his winter visit and worshiped Mother Ganga. The doors of Gangotri Dham were opened for devotees on April 30. This time more than 7.57 lakh pilgrims visited the Dham. The doors of Kedarnath and Yamunotri Dham will be closed on Thursday.
