Jakarta – The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) denies that its office was searched by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). Customs and Excise said the Attorney General’s visit to his office was to coordinate. DJBC Director of Communications and Service User Guidance, Nirwala Dwi Heryanto, confirmed that prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General visited the Customs and Excise Headquarters, Jakarta today. Nirwala said, the attorney general’s office has come to coordinate and collect data. “It is true that friends from the Prosecutor’s office visited the Customs headquarters on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The cooperation is between Customs and Excise and Jampidsus and Jamintel. “I must inform you that DJBC has a cooperation agreement with Jampidesus and Jamintel,” said Nirwala. Nirwala denied that the Attorney General’s visit was to search his office. He said the AGO’s arrival was for routine coordination activities as usual. “Yes, routine activities as usual,” he said.
