Ram Yatra: Morari Bapu's Spiritual Journey of 8,000 Km in 11 Days, 9 Ram Stories

New Delhi, October 22 (IANS). The world famous spiritual guru and lecturer of Ramayana, Pujya Morari Bapu, is leaving on the second historic ‘Ram Yatra’ from October 25 to November 4. This 11-day journey will start from Chitrakoot, follow the holy path of Lord Rama’s exile to Rameshwaram, Colombo, and finally end in Ayodhya. This journey will connect the spiritual destinations of India and Sri Lanka, bringing to life the values ​​of Sanatan Dharma, devotion and compassion. The yatra will start on Saturday (October 25) from Atri Muni Ashram in Chitrakoot, where the first Ram Katha will be held. 411 devotees will travel 8,000 kilometers in a special 22-coach train, carrying 9 Ram Kathas. These stories will be set in Agastya Muni Ashram (Satna), Panchavati (Maharashtra), Shabari Ashram (Karnataka), Rishimukt Parvat (Hampi), Parvaschard Parvat (Karnataka), Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu), Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh). The journey from Rameshwaram to Colombo and from Colombo to Ayodhya will be by air. All stories will be free and inclusive, with people from all walks of life able to participate. Morari Bapu said, “This journey is not only geographical but a reminder of Lord Rama’s path of dharma and compassion. Where his name is taken with love, that place becomes Ayodhya.” This yatra is organized by Madan Ji Paliwal of Santkripa Sanatan Sansthan. During the yatra, vegetarian food will be served to the devotees three times a day as Prasad. This is the second Ram Yatra, the first Ram Yatra was held in 2021 from Ayodhya to Chitrakoot and Nandigram. 78-year-old Bapu, who started Ram Katha at the age of 14, has conducted more than 950 Kathas so far. His stories focus on truth, love and compassion, which have resonated in countries such as India, Sri Lanka, America, Brazil and Japan. She has also written stories for transgender communities and war-torn regions such as the Ukraine and Israel.
