Ahead of festivals, action against adulterers in Noida, 100 KG Paneer and 450 KG Khoya destroyed

Despite the strictness of the Food Department, adulterers try to sell adulterated and spoiled food items in Noida and Greater Noida. The department team seized a large quantity of adulterated and spoiled cheese and khoya on Thursday. The team destroyed 100 kg of paneer and 450 kg of khoya on the spot. Khoya was brought from Aligarh to Delhi NCR for provision. One sample of each of the destroyed paneer and khoya was sent to the laboratory for testing. Food Department Assistant Commissioner Sarvesh Mishra said that the team of Food Safety Officer Syed Ibadullah, Vishal Gupta and Amar Bahadur Saroj Sonu inspected Paneer Bhandar in Surajpur. One sample each of paneer and khoya was taken from there. 100 kg of cheese was found to be spoiled and was immediately destroyed on the spot. 450 kg of salt was destroyed Meanwhile, the team of Food Safety Officer Vijay Bahadur Patel and Ravindra Verma stopped a vehicle coming from Aligarh at Jewar toll plaza. The vehicle carrying salt belonged to Kaushal Kumar Sharma. On investigation on the spot, it was found that the salt was of poor quality. After the sample was taken, 450 kg of salt was destroyed. This campaign will continue till Diwali. He said after the sample report comes, a case will be filed against the accused. Meanwhile, Food Safety Officer Malti took a sample of salt from Shiv Namkeen Bhandar in Dankaur. He said that this campaign will continue till Diwali.
