Nusron explained that the additional economic growth, which reached IDR 1,021.95 trillion, was derived from bond rights amounting to IDR 980.5 trillion; Land and building rights acquisition fee (BPHTB) amounting to IDR 25.9 trillion; Non-tax government revenue (PNBP) amounting to IDR 3.15 trillion; and Income Tax (PPh) of IDR 12.4 trillion. “These figures show that the land registration program has had a concrete economic impact, not only for society, but also for the country,” said Nusron. The ATR/BPN Ministry, Nusron continued, is also improving spatial data covering an area of 3.05 million hectares, beyond the coastline, forest areas and river borders. This step is important to ensure the accuracy of national land maps which are the basis for spatial planning, investment and regional planning policies throughout Indonesia. “Valid spatial data is the key so that development can be measured, investment is safe and land conflicts can be minimized,” emphasizes Nusron. To date, 123.3 million plots have been registered nationally, with 97 million plots certified. This achievement shows real acceleration towards the target of Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) and provides a strong foundation for equal distribution of assets and economic growth of the people. “With registered and certified land, people have legal certainty to do business, access credit and increase the economic value of their assets. This is the essence of true agrarian reform,” said Nusron. (acd/ega)
