There is a provision of only 100 chairs to accommodate the crowd in the temporary holding area created in the circulating area. Even after this, the DRM directed the officials that the passengers who are put in other places outside the holding area should be removed. DRM spoke to Deep Narayan and Shiv Kumar from Kaimur who were waiting for the train in the holding area. After this DRM also spoke to a woman named Anjali who was waiting for the train to go to Dumka. After talking to the three passengers, the DRM suggested the passengers to enter from one side and exit from the other side. People are facing problems due to the screen installed in front of the holding area being turned off. Which instructed DRM to start immediately. However, the officials did not tell DRM the reason why the display screen was switched off. An employee told that the screen was down due to a fault in the machine. Here, while inspecting from platform number two, the DRM along with the railway officials went to the CCTV control room on the first floor. Where every angle of the cameras installed in the station was investigated. In the control room, it was seen on two large and one small screens that only 70 out of 74 cameras were working. Four cameras were out of order. When asked about the cameras being switched off, it was said to be a technical fault. On this, the DRM put technical questions to the female RPF constable on duty. DRM instructed the RPF officers to prepare a chart of the soldiers on duty and a list of their work. After the control room, the DRM went from the porch area to the temporary detention area. Where information was taken about the crowd and arrangements made for the passengers during Chhath Puja 2025.
