The government has approved a major initiative to revamp the education system of the district. The Rajasthan government has given administrative approval of ₹16.16 crore for the reconstruction and repair of school buildings damaged in the recent heavy rains and floods. This approval was issued by the Rajsamand District Collector after financial approval from the Department of Disaster Management and Civil Defence, Jaipur. The goal is to reopen flood-affected schools as soon as possible so that students can continue their studies in a safe and comfortable environment. Information about repair plan and amount by tehsil: According to the sanction order, a total of 808 school buildings in five sub-divisions/blocks of the district will be repaired. The main rules are as follows: Executive Department: The responsibility of all these 808 repair works has been given to Samagra Shiksha Rajsamand (ADPC Rajsamand). Compliance with rules: All repairs will be done according to the rules and guidelines set by the State Disaster Response Fund. Use of funds: The approved funds will only be used in schools damaged by floods or excessive rainfall. Financial Discipline: Every expenditure will be made according to General Financial Rules (GFR) and transparency will be maintained. Timely reporting: The Operations Department must submit quarterly progress reports and fund utilization reports to the Disaster Management Assistance Department in a timely manner.
