Gold ties in Yahukimo were attacked by KKB, 11 people are dead 2

Jakarta – The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) has attacked the gold tension in Yahukimo Regency, Papuea Mountains. As many as 11 people were killed and 2 others were held hostage by KKB. The attack took place on Sunday (6/4/2025) on place 22 and Muara Kum Yahukimo. Meanwhile, Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf Candra Kurniawan said his party is still conducting an investigation related to the KKB action or the Free Papua Organization (OPM). But he denied information about TNI soldiers who were victims. “Hoax reported that the victim is a TNI soldier, the propaganda was deliberately distributed by the OPM hordes and sympathizers,” Candra said.
