Construction of Gangapath from Kangan Ghat to Didarganj to complete quickly

The JP Ganga Path project, built on the banks of River Ganges in Patna, will now be expanded to Didarganj. Now it will take very little time to cover the distance of two opposite ends of Patna and Dija. The name was plated JP after the establishment of this project was laid on the birthday of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan on October 11, 2013. The same day it was called JP Ganga Path. In the first phase, 7.5 km of path from Ditha to Gandhi Maidan was inaugurated and dedicated to the public on June 24, 2022. In the second phase, 5.0 km of PMCH to Cow Ghat was inaugurated on August 14, 2023, 3.0 km road from Cow Ghat to Kangan Ghat in the third phase was on July 10, 2024 and Krishna Ghat Lick Road Inaugurate on July 10, 2024 and Krishna Link on October 3, 2024. This road connects JP Setu and Mahatma Gandhi Setu, which facilitates the journey between North and South Bihar. After the construction is completed to Didarganj, this path will also be linked to the Kachidargah-Bidupur Six Lane Bridge. It will be expanded from Bihta to Mokama. On the other hand, the expansion of the project was also approved. Work on the widening of the old NH to the Koilwar Bridge in the West and the expansion plan from Didarganj to Fatuha and Bakhtiyarpur to Mokama in the east will also begin. Not only that, a large garden will also be developed on the banks of the Ganges between Digha and Gandhi Maidan. Ganga trail will also be linked to Patna Ring Road. Currently, this road connects a total of five bridges to the Ganges River, three of which are under construction. It goes through Patna Ring Road.
