Punjab: Police have arrested gangster in Tarn Taran after being shot, police arrested

Tarn Taran, April 12 (IANS). A Hender of infamous gangster Prabh Dasuwal was arrested by police following a meeting during a large police action in the Patti area in the Tarn Taran district Punjab. He has recently been involved in many incidents of extortion, threats and shooting. In the meeting, the gangster was shot in the leg and was admitted to the Strip Hospital. The incident occurred when police received intelligence information that the Cammakaran petrol pump, a lawyer’s car and the St. Sometimes outside the monastery school in the desired criminal strip area. After this, Tarn Taran police made intensive blockade in the area and planned to arrest the accused. Once the police team, including DSP Lovekesh, tried to stop the suspect, the accused began shooting at the policy team indiscriminately. The policy team again refuted in self -defense, in which the accused was shot in the leg. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in an injured condition. A pistol was also recovered from the place used in incidents. DSP Lovekesh told the media that the accused is a resident of Sarali Manda and has been involved in criminal activities for some time. He said the police were already aware of his activities and that this action was done on the basis of it. According to the DSP, the name of the accused is registered in several severe cases and works for the Prabh Dasuwal gang, one of the most notorious gang members in Punjab. According to police, the accused was involved in cases such as extortion recovery, which threatened to kill and shoot. At the time of the meeting, there were a few other people with the accused who escaped from the place.
