Deer -like buffalo family members

Buffalo family members who look trending deer, if you walk around in the mountains of Laos and Vietnam, there will be a family member of Buffalo in forests, rivers and marshy areas that look like deer. These animals that belong to the Bovid species of animals are known as Saola and are one of the largest rare mammals on earth. There are only about 700 to 800 Saolas on earth. Scientists became acquainted with them in 1992. Saola gets this name because of its curved, long, pointed horns. They are also called Asian unicorn because of their rare and many problems. The deer of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula -like Saola are not a deer, but a next of kin of buffalo, goat and other wild cattle. The weight of an adult Saola weighs up to 80-100 kg. Both female and male have long, lightly curved horn and an attractive pattern of white marks on the head. This beautiful animal is only found in Annamite Mountains with the border of Laos and Vietnam. Saola is included in the red list of IUCN’s endangered species as severely distressed (the last stop before extinction).
