‘Superman’ sneak peek has divided the internet ahead of dcu debut – ryan

James Gunn Enthusiastically promoted his long-waited Superman Movie at this year’s cinemacon, which was undoubtedly one of the Las Vegas event’s most anticipated moments. The filmmaker even unveiled a special sneak peek of the movie for those attending to enjoy. However, the Dcu Fandom was clearly divided by just how fragile cal-el appeared during the sequence that takes place within the fortress of solitude sequence. Apparently, this more vulnerable representation of the beloved superhero irked many viewers. One Social Media User Sounded Off by Saying, Courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter:

“James gunn gets it, they said. He won’t make it a stupid comedy, they said. They said he understood the assignment. That was the worst superman clip I have ever seen. It’s an utter joke, and it’s all about Krypto.”

The controversial footage extended upon the Wintry scene appearing in the official teaser trailer, in which a bruised, bloodied, and battered man of steel (David Corenswet) is rescued by his faithful dog, Krypto. The Kryptonian Canine Drags Superman into the fortress during Cinemacon’s sneak peek, so the fallen hero can be attended to by four automatons. The Robots magnify the intense rays of the yellow sun to treat calf as he wails in agony during the healing process. Another upset fan wrote:

“The real superman does not need a bunch of robots to carry him over to a table to heal… and does not whine like a little bit*h when the sun hits hits him.”
