Google caught up in legal problems and accused of detecting YouTube activity of children

Tech News Desk – Alphabet Inc., who runs the search engine Google, and many other companies are accused of violating the privacy of children under the age of 13. The court says that these companies have detected and used children’s YouTube activity. It is to show advertisement, which is a violation of the privacy of children. Let me tell you that the case was rejected by a court in San Francisco earlier last year. The US Court of Appeal is reviewing the case. The court acknowledged that the congress did not intend to abolish the demands of the law-based secrecy of the state by adopting the Children’s Online Secretary or Coppa Protection Act. The Act gives the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General of the State the right to regulate the online collection of personal information about children under the age of 13 years, but not a private company. The court claims that Google has violated the law by detecting children’s YouTube activity in this case. According to the court, channels such as Hasbrow, Mattal and Cartoon Network attract more children, as Google uses the data for data tracking ads. Let us tell you that the Competition Commission of India recently fined Google with a fine of Rs 1.338 crore to abuse its strong position in the Android mobiles device sector to suppress the competition. The commission also instructed Google to prevent improper affairs activities and make changes in the way of work. The fine order was challenged by Google at Appellate Tribunal Nclat. According to sources, Google demanded a ban on CCE command. The company believes that the CCE does not appreciate the strong evidence the OEM held in the case. Google says that Android Indian users, developers and OEMs have greatly favored and empowered India’s digital change. Share this story
