wow, Emilio Estevez grew into a dead ringer for his dad!
-
Now, Anthony Michael Hall would play the jock, Judd would play the nerd, and Emilio would play the “too cool for school” one.
-
Whoah, didn’t realize the Zachary Beck character in the new season of Reacher is Anthony Michael Hall.

I like how Ally Sheedy embraced her age. Nice to see in Hollywood.

When 16 Candles came out nobody went to see it because it was advertised as a teen sex comedy aka Porky’s which some people liked but most thought it was trash. Then 16 C was released on cable and became a big hit. The Breakfast Club then became hugely anticipated because John Hughes was once again writing and directing and because of the cast. Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall were, of course, known for 16 Candles; Ally Sheedy was known for War Games and Emilio Esteves from RepoMan. All were big hits on cable. I remember going the cinema to see it with my brothers and sisters and large group of our friends. I still think it’s John Hughes best work.

Wait… That’s Anthony Michael Hall? Dude looks like an ex football coach now. Wtf. Total transformation.

WTH is Martin Sheen doing in this picture? West Wing dead ringer!

Other people aging has always been a surreal thing for me, because I remember them in their prime. Even friends I had in my late teens are still pictured that way despite us now being in our mid-40s.
It’s good seeing how well this troupe has aged, but still hard to process.

I got to tell Emilio Estevez where the bathroom was once.

who knew brian would be the one acting more than the rest in 2025

Emiliooooo looks even more like his dad as he ages.

Is Judd Nelson ok healthwise? 😕

takes me to a happy place

When I first watched this, I sympathized with the kids. Then years later, I sympathized with the principle. The last few times I would Google, how much is $31,000, in today’s dollars.

“And i was like EMELIOOOOO!”
Guess that movie?

Lol
Andrew McCarthy did a documentary on the Brat Pack and went around interviewing his costars/those who were included in the label. Three people in this pic declined to participate.
Interesting. -
Makes me sad to see Molly Ringwald looking like that. I understand there is incredible pressure to hold on to young looks, especially for an actor who was popular as a young adult. The fillers make her look like all the other overstuffed Hollywood faces, when what charmed us was her individuality.
-
I wonder if Judd is still being an asshole to Molly?
-
Interesting that Judd showed up, hes apparently very private and stepped away from Hollywood. Emilio must have been very convincing.
-
It’s like Judd Nelson shrank while Anthony Michael Hall got bigger.
-
I don’t mean to be rude and pre-apologize if it comes off as such but, has Molly Ringwald had some surgery?
-
Good seeing Anthony Michael Hall with both ears.
