Sby reminds active politics does not mean silence: ri should talk

Jakarta – The chairman of the Yudhoyono Institute (Tyi), who is also the 6th president of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (Sby), spoke about foreign policy. Sby reminded that although Indonesia complies with an active political attitude, it does not mean that it is passive about a global situation. This was said by Sby in a discussion held by Tyi entitled Dynamics and the latest world development: geopolitics, safety and global economy, Sunday (4/13/2025). Sby first explained that Indonesia has a number of homework. “(Homework) reduces universal poverty and also world inequality. It is also a very important global agenda, because it is required by all countries in the world,” says Sby. He hopes that the global economy will grow in a more balanced and inclusive direction. “What is expected is that the global economy is increasingly growing, inclusive and balanced, a balanced global economy, then economic trading and investment brings benefits to all countries,” he said.
