New Delhi, Pret: Indian tennis player Ramkumar Ramanathan secured his best 168 rankings in the latest ATP World Singles rankings. Recently, Ramanathan, runner -up of Vineteka Challenger, who was in the US, scored 48 points in this tournament, which also benefited in the ranking. He has reached 168th position with 16 places.

22 -year -old Chennai player Ramanathan is now India’s top ranked player in the men’s singles, while Yuki Bhambri (212), Prajnesh Gunaswaran (214), N Sriram Balaji (293) and Sumit Nagal (306) are number.
Bopanna loss of one place : Rohan Bopanna of India has lost a place in doubles, while Sania Mirza remains on her seventh position in women’s doubles. Bopanna has slipped to the 22nd position in Bopanna doubles rankings, losing in the second round of men’s doubles in Wimbledon. But India’s Divij Sharan in the top 100 in the doubles rankings has reached 51st with six places, Purav Raja, five places, veteran tennis player Leander Paes has reached 59th with three places. While its runner -up Venus Williams has come at number ninth. Carolina Pliskova of Czech Republic is at the top, while Simona Halep of Romania is at number two. At the same time, Angelic Karber of Germany is in third place.
