Lucknow, April 17 (IANS). A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Thursday regarding the WAQF Act. During the hearing in court, BJP leader Mohsin Raza said that the court, apart from the new appointment, had no prohibition. This law was brought for the rights of poor Muslims. There will be a next trial on May 5. During the hearing held today, one thing is clear that we want to win the first battle. During a conversation with the Ians news agency on Thursday, BJP leader Mohsin Raza said that our attorney general had placed the side of the government during the hearing in the Supreme Court. He sought a seven -day postponement, referring to the need to respond to various petitions. The Supreme Court heard all the petitions, including the petitions of the opposition and gave everyone the chance to respect their arguments respectfully. The Supreme Court accepted the arguments of the government’s lawyer and gave seven days. He said the court said during his hearing that there was no residence on the law. The opposition demanded that there should be no new appointment under this Act. The government lawyer assured the court that no new appointment would be made in terms of the WAQF Act. Explain that the WAQF Act has recently been approved by a majority in parliament. The central government claims that this amendment will benefit the poor Muslims. The country will be brought back from the clutches of people who illegally occupy the WAQF countries. At the same time, the opposition is constantly opposed to the WAQF Act. The opposition says that the government wants to occupy the countries of WAQF by force. Several petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the WAQF Act.
