The combined market cap of the ten most valued businesses has risen by an impressive £ 3,84,004.73 crore during the holiday shorten week, powered by a strong rally in the stock markets. HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel led the profit among the top performers. Over the same period, the BSE Sensex rose by 3,395,94 points, or 4.51%, while the NSE climbed Nifty 1,023,1 points, with a 4.48%increase. Markets were witnessing a strong recovery and rose by more than 4.5 percent during the holiday shortened week, driven by favorable clues from both domestic and global fronts, said Ajit Mishra-SVP, Research, Relearch Broking Ltd. “The rally was mainly fueled by optimism about postponing rates and recent exemptions on selected products, increasing the hope of possible negotiations that could reduce the impact on world trade.” As the week progressed, the market participants responded positively to a number of favorable relationships that increased the hope of potential policy reduction – and increased the absence of any major negative disintegration.
