‘Pacific Rim’ Prequel Series Set for Prime Video from Amazon Mgm and Legendary – ryan
It’s bone a long time since fans or Pacific rim Were treated to some live-action kaiju mayhem, but all that could be changing soon thanks to amazon. The Prequel Series That Was Announced Last Year To Be In Development By Legendary Television Has Officially Landed at Amazon Mgm Studios, And Together, The Two Behemoths Will Adapt the Project for Prime video. Pacific rim is, of course, the 2013 Guillermo del Toro Classic that Saw Humanity Fighting Off a Barrage of Kaiju with the Help of Gigantic Humanoid Mechas Known as Jaegers.
Per the Hollywood Reporter, the Pacific rim Prequel Series is helmed by Eric Heisserer through his chronology banner as part of his overall first-looking TV deal with legendary. Heisserer will serve as writer and executive producer on the series, as he’s certainly no stranger to the small screen. He most recently was the writer, showrunner, and ep for Netflix’s Shadow and bone Series, and he’s penned a few other greats you may have heard of. Denis Villeneuve’s Arrival Starring Jeremy Renner and Amy Adams, and Netflix’s Bird Box Starring Sandra Bullock.

No details have been given to what direction the Pacific rim Prequel series will go in, but seeing how the original movie featured a length prologue that detailed humanity’s first response to the kaiju that included building the jaegers, it’s likely to be set during that time period. The project is still in the early stages of development, so no stars or directors are attached just yet, nor has an estimated release date.
